About Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical FraternityView Site

Phi Delta Epsilon, an international medical fraternity, was founded 104 years ago and is based on the promotion of fostering and achieving bonding among physicians of high moral character devoted to education and philanthropy for a lifetime. Phi Delta Epsilon members are the future physicians of America—and the future physicians of children’s hospitals—and are committed to helping improve the lives of children philanthropically as well as medically. With more than 30,000 initiated members and more than 50 chapters, members devote service hours throughout the year through programs such as Angels in the E.R. where members read to families in the waiting rooms, product drives for child life programs and more. Chapters fundraise for their Children’s Miracle Network Hospital through a variety of programs such as Dance Marathons, banquets and auctions, and a variety of other fundraising events.
